Invitation to CAEP 2016 from the Conference Chairs

Cobblestone streets, historic architecture and an atmosphere entrenched in culture – Québec City is like taking a trip to Europe without leaving Canada. We invite you to experience this historic city at CAEP 2016.

The 2016 Conference Organizing Committee has been preparing for the ultimate conference experience. Whether you want to learn about cutting-edge emergency medicine or innovative educational techniques, the scientific program caters to all tastes. This year’s pre-conference workshops will include your final opportunity to take EMR Act I, the Simulation Olympiad and the Academic Symposium on Education Scholarship.

The theme of Joie de vivre will feature throughout CAEP 2016 as we focus on physician wellness. It will be showcased in talks, presentations and entertainment.

Aside from the scientific content and physician wellness learning opportunities, Québec City has a lot to offer to your inner tourist. We encourage you to explore Québec City throughout your stay. The Welcome Reception will take place at the beautiful Hôtel Château Laurier Québec which overlooks the Plains of Abraham. The popular Docs that Rock concert returns, with net proceeds supporting the EM Advancement Fund (EMAF). Our closing event will be La Soirée Joie de Vivre at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

CAEP has tremendous support from our sponsors and exhibitors who will be available to present all the innovations in our exhibit hall. The exhibit hall, and all meetings, will be held in the Québec City Convention Centre, located in the heart of downtown (just a short walk to the old city).

Joie de Vivre is waiting for you at CAEP 2016! Come for the conference and revel in the experience.

See you soon!
